Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury Rematch Discussed for March 2027, With Darren Till vs Carl Froch Targeted as Co-Main
A major UK crossover boxing card could be taking shape for March 2027, with Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury II being discussed for the main event and Darren Till vs Carl Froch potentially serving as the co-main.
Talks around a Paul-Fury rematch have intensified in recent months. MVP CEO Nakisa Bidarian has publicly said a second fight with Tommy “makes most sense” for Jake’s return, while Tommy’s father John Fury has specifically mentioned February or March 2027 as a workable timeframe. A UK rematch has also been discussed.
Their first meeting came in 2023, when Tommy Fury handed Jake Paul his first professional defeat by split decision. A rematch would give Paul the chance to avenge that loss as he returns following the broken jaw he suffered against Anthony Joshua.
The proposed co-main would be Darren Till vs Carl Froch, a fight that has been talked about since Till’s run with Misfits. Till previously called Froch out publicly, and both Misfits and Till have expressed interest in making the matchup happen.
At this stage, the promotional structure remains unclear. It is not known whether Most Valuable Promotions, Misfits Boxing, or a collaboration between the two would lead the event.
That possibility would make sense given the increasing crossover between the two camps in recent years, but no promoter, venue, or official card has been announced yet.
If finalized, a UK card featuring Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury II and Darren Till vs Carl Froch would combine two long-running rivalries on the same night and could become one of the biggest crossover boxing events of 2027.
