KSI Seeks Revenge Fight Against Floyd Mayweather Over Brother Deji’s Treatment
KSI is aiming to avenge his brother Deji after feeling Floyd Mayweather treated him unfairly during their exhibition bout in Dubai in 2022.
Mayweather allegedly forced Deji to box with smaller 10oz gloves instead of the agreed 14oz, and did not ease up on him despite a verbal agreement.
KSI’s trainer, Alexis Demetriades, revealed that there is deep animosity stemming from Mayweather’s actions. According to Demetriades, Mayweather ignored pleas to take it easy on Deji during the match, intensifying KSI’s desire for a fight against him.
Mayweather, who retired in 2017 after defeating Conor McGregor, continues to participate in exhibition matches. He has faced various opponents from social media stars to MMA fighters, including KSI’s brother Deji and Logan Paul.
Despite KSI’s next fight on August 31 against Anthony Taylor and Slim Albaher, his focus remains on a potential bout with Mayweather. KSI’s camp believes he has a real chance of victory, citing his experience and the tangibles gained from his brother and Logan Paul’s previous fights with Mayweather.
Demetriades emphasized KSI’s determination, stating that KSI wants to “kill” Mayweather in the ring, highlighting the seriousness and personal nature of this potential fight.
