KSI’s 1v2 Fight Is Rumored To Be Off
Rumors are swirling about the possible cancellation of KSI’s upcoming boxing match, where he was set to face Slim Albaher and Anthony Taylor in a unique 1 vs. 2 “tag-team” bout.
This match was scheduled to headline Misfits Boxing 17 on August 31 at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
The speculation began after KSI, deleted all posts related to the fight from his social media accounts. Followed up by his opponent Slim coming out on his Twitter saying that the fight is cancelled.
Observers noted that KSI appeared disinterested and off throughout the build-up to the fight.
Initially, KSI had challenged Albaher and Taylor in a YouTube video, and both accepted the challenge. In a statement, KSI expressed his pleasure at their acceptance, stating, “I can’t tell you how pleased I am that both Slim and Anthony Taylor accepted this challenge, because I wasn’t sure they had the minerals to do so. Both of these guys have been on my case for years and now, on August 31 in Dublin, they are set to get what they asked for.”
Albaher, unbeaten in influencer boxing, and Taylor, who rides a two-fight win streak, were both preparing for the anticipated bout. However, with KSI’s recent social media activity and apparent lack of interest, the fight’s future seems uncertain.
The event is still on of course. however, there are now rumors that Darren Till, AnEsonGib, and Jorge Masvidal might step in as replacements for a later date, should the cancellation be confirmed.
