Misfits Boxing Postpones ‘Blinders and Brawls’ Event Amid Scheduling Challenges

Misfits Boxing has announced the postponement of its upcoming event, “Blinders and Brawls,” originally scheduled for April 12, 2025, at Becketwell Live in Derby, England. The event, headlined by the light heavyweight bout between Idris Virgo and Ty Mitchell, will now take place on May 16, 2025, at the same venue.

This rescheduling follows the recent delay of Misfits Boxing 21, which was set to feature KSI against Dillon Danis on March 29 in Manchester. KSI withdrew from the bout due to illness, leading to the event’s postponement.

Fans have expressed frustration over these consecutive delays, as Misfits Boxing has held only one fight this year—Anthony Taylor’s knockout loss to Darren Till. The organization has apologized for the inconvenience, acknowledging the disappointment and emphasizing that the rescheduling was beyond their control.

The updated fight card for the May 16 event remains largely unchanged, with Virgo and Mitchell headlining. Additional bouts include Jully Poca versus Aria Wild for the MF cruiserweight title, and a heavyweight Survivor Tag bout featuring Tempo Art, Big Tobz, Godson Umeh, and Curtis Pritchard.

Misfits Boxing is working to stabilize its event schedule and deliver the anticipated matchups to its audience. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for further updates regarding future events and potential rescheduling of previously postponed bouts.
