KSI Talks Comeback and Reflects on His Boxing Journey
On a recent episode of Punchin’, the podcast hosted by popular streamer Danny Aarons, KSI gave fans an update on his fighting future, and his honest view on his own progress in the sport since launching Misfits Boxing.
The YouTube star and co-founder of Misfits admitted that his boxing evolution has been “okay”, noting that while he’s made strides, injury setbacks have slowed momentum. KSI confirmed he’s currently in the process of having hand surgery, but expects to be fully fit and ready to enter training camp by May 2026.
“It’s been okay. I feel like I was really pushing before, but injuries and running Misfits kind of changed things,” KSI said.
Danny Aarons vs Deji? Not Happening.
Later in the episode, the conversation shifted toward hypothetical influencer matchups, including whether Danny Aarons would consider fighting Deji, KSI’s brother. While Aarons revealed he was “once interested” in making that fight happen, he shut the door on the idea, saying he “likes Deji too much” to pursue it now.
“I like Deji, man. I think at one point I wanted to, but now? Nah,” Danny shared.
What’s Next for KSI?
With his return to camp planned for mid-2026, speculation will naturally heat up around who KSI might fight next. Past targets like Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, depending on timing and public interest. However, KSI emphasized his focus is on healing properly and returning at 100%.
In the meantime, Misfits continues to grow, with major cards like Misfits 22: Ring of Thrones on the horizon. While KSI might be taking a step back as a fighter, his influence over the influencer boxing space remains front and center.
Stay tuned, 2026 could mark the next big chapter in KSI’s combat journey.
